The first thing you should know, is that the world for a child with Autism or ADHD is perceived differently from ours. The autistic child has difficulties processing and interacting with the world. The ADHD child has difficulties to keep track and focus. They feel overwhelmed or restless. Our job as parents or teachers is to set up the world with tools that filters away as much of the disabilities as we can, leaving the child enabled to his or her full potential. Our job is to Enable the World for Autism & ADHD!
Choose your challenge. Set your priority.
The Rails & Shine framework is here to guide you as a parent or teacher to how you enable the world for autism and ADHD. The core of the framework are the 9 B E M Y R A I L S Goals.

It is the B E M Y R A I L S Goals and the tools you select, that form the filter between your child and our world. And it is by reaching the goals you will enable the world for autism and ADHD, and therefore also enable your child! And one more thing - always assume intelligence, your child might just baffle you one day when it all clicks!
